It is our intention to produce wines that tell their own story about their origin: the history, the landscape and  the people. Our wines have been developped in harmony, they are full of energy which is shown by their elegance, balanced character, their full body and their minerals.

Vineyards

Our grapes grow in an ideal climate on good soils: The sites are called St. Klausen/Hammelburger Trautlestal.

These sites are destined for the cultivation of wine as they are positioned to the south with a great exposition to the sun, on 220 – 320 m above sea level. 320 m above sea level, enabling the grapes to ripen slowly, which helps them to develop an intense aroma.

Naturally, environmentally friendly cultivation

We stick to a natural cultivation as we want to be careful with the resources of our land. Therefore we do not use any artificial fertilizer or pesticides. We trust in modern biological methods and innovation in the production process.

Energetics

In 2008 we have introduced heat pumps in order to heat or cool down our rooms and wines. We adopted the latest technical standards in order to be as careful as possible with our environment.
